VOLUNTARY SERVICES
St. John Ambulance Volunteers assist to perform core activities of the agency. We have over 5,500 Volunteers across the country who assist in our operations. These Volunteers are in various professions including Medicine, Environmental Management, Transportation, Sports, Law, General Business, Teaching etc. Refresher courses in first aid are given to them periodically. Skill acquisition platforms have been created for them to be well equiped to perform all first aid services. They participate in a range of public events in order to offer first aid where it is required for participants and spectators alike.

St John Ambulance Ghana has provided essential First Aid services to the public across the country. We continue to perform stadium duties in all the stadia across the country as well as functions held by corporate, Royal and religious organisations. Prominent among them are Independence Day Anniversary celebrations on 6th March, May Day celebrations across the country, Accra International Marathons, Pan African Street Dance, Royal Durbars, National Farmers’ Day, Health and Peace Walks, Inter-School Games, Clean-Up Exercises, Quiz Competitions, Keep Fit Exercises, Health Education, National Association of Scoliosis events, among others.
